Nagamangala: Karnataka Health Minister U.T. Khader said the Health Department would continue collaborating with organisations such as Rotaplast International to ensure children receive necessary medical treatment.
He was speaking after inaugurating a free plastic surgery camp at BGS Hall in Nagamangala, Mandya district, in the presence of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math pontiff Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji.
Khader highlighted the Math’s contributions to education and healthcare, recalling the legacy of the late Jagadguru Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji. He said the present pontiff was continuing this tradition of service through initiatives such as medical camps.

A medical team from US-based Rotaplast International is performing free cleft lip surgeries for children at Adichunchanagiri Hospital. Khader said the procedures could improve children’s confidence and help them access better opportunities.
He thanked the organisation and the visiting medical team for supporting the initiative.
Minister K.M. Shivalinge Gowda, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor Dr. B.C. Bhagavan, Rotaplast Executive Director Rtn. Daniel DeSanto and other dignitaries attended the event.
