Navsari: A fire broke out at a plastic wholesale shop opposite an ITI in Bilimora town of Gujarat’s Navsari district late Friday night, destroying goods estimated to be worth ₹8 lakh to ₹10 lakh.
Local residents initially attempted to douse the fire before fire personnel from the Bilimora and Gandevi municipal bodies arrived and launched firefighting operations.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire and assess the damage.
