New Delhi: A first look at the country’s upcoming Vande Bharat Sleeper Train has highlighted its modern design and upgraded passenger amenities, positioning it as a major step in India’s rail modernisation.
Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna shared a video on social media showcasing the train’s interiors and facilities, offering a glimpse into what is being billed as a next-generation travel experience.

In his post, Somanna said the initiative reflects the Centre’s push to upgrade Indian Railways infrastructure to global standards under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The sleeper version of the Vande Bharat is expected to feature enhanced comfort, improved berths and modern onboard facilities, aimed at redefining long-distance rail travel in the country.
Officials said the train is part of a broader effort to introduce world-class technology and passenger-centric upgrades across the rail network.
