Vijayapura (Karnataka): A woman and her two sons were killed after their car lost control and crashed into a road divider on National Highway-50 near Managuli in Basavana Bagewadi taluk of Vijayapura district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Satyaveni (38) and her sons, Harivenkataram (20) and Jashwanth (18).
According to preliminary information, the family was travelling from Karatagi in Koppal district to Shirdi when the accident occurred.
Following the incident, personnel from the Managuli Police Station rushed to the accident site, conducted an inspection and initiated legal formalities.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
