PM inaugurates Namo Hospital in Daman, boosts healthcare infrastructure

Daman: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the Namo Hospital in Daman, describing it as a major step towards strengthening healthcare services in the Union Territory and nearby regions.

The Prime Minister said the hospital is equipped with modern medical facilities and is aimed at providing quality healthcare to people closer to their homes.

Sharing the development on social media platform X, Modi said the inauguration was part of the government’s continuing efforts to improve access to advanced medical treatment and healthcare infrastructure across the country.

He expressed confidence that the new hospital would play a significant role in addressing the healthcare needs of residents of Daman and surrounding areas, while reducing the need for patients to travel to distant cities for specialised treatment.

The Namo Hospital is expected to enhance the availability of modern healthcare services in the region and strengthen the public health network in the Union Territory.
