Quetta: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for 15 attacks across Pakistan’s Balochistan province between October 20 and 26, alleging that more than 27 Pakistani soldiers were killed. Local media reports said several security personnel were also injured.

The BLA claimed a clash lasting more than four hours took place in the Gidar region. It also reported that four personnel each were killed in attacks at Cher Kuncheti and Gurgina in Mastung, while two soldiers died in the Dasht Baba area.

Further attacks were reported in Kalat, Khuzdar and Nushki. The group also claimed that an explosion destroyed the main gate of a joint security post in Khuzdar and damaged a bridge along the Quetta–Karachi trade route.
