New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Indian contingent for its impressive performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where the country finished with 39 medals, including 13 golds.
In a post on X, Modi said he was proud of the team’s achievements and congratulated all the medal winners for their success.

“Throughout the Games, our talented athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination and dedication. Their hard work will continue to inspire our youngsters,” the Prime Minister said.
Modi also extended his best wishes to the entire Indian contingent for future competitions, expressing confidence that they would continue to bring greater glory to the country through their performances.
