Riyadh Airport Attack Leaves 12 Dead, 309 Injured

Riyadh: An attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Saturday reportedly left 12 people dead and 309 injured.

According to the Saudi government, the deceased included four Saudi nationals and eight foreign residents. Among the foreign nationals, two were from Bangladesh, while the others were citizens of the US, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Sudan, with one person from each country.

The reported attack comes amid escalating hostilities between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels, with both sides reportedly targeting major airports. Saudi Arabia has launched fresh airstrikes and missile attacks on areas under Houthi control in Yemen, according to reports.
