Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor Aishwarya Sindogi has lodged a complaint with the Sanjay Nagar police in Bengaluru, alleging sustained harassment through fake social media accounts and abusive comments. Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation.
In her complaint, Aishwarya alleged that obscene, defamatory and derogatory comments have repeatedly been posted on her social media accounts. She claimed that a person known to her is behind the harassment and has been operating multiple fake accounts to target her online.
The actor further stated that the accused had allegedly threatened her earlier and has now escalated the harassment by creating fake profiles to post abusive content.
Seeking legal action, Aishwarya urged police to identify those operating the fake accounts and take strict action against those responsible. Based on her complaint, the Sanjay Nagar police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
